Horse Books |
My horse books are currently unavailable, but I have a new one coming out soon. Perhaps some of the old ones will eventually be reprinted as well. For future reference, here are all my horse novels:
The Wild Arabian
This horse was the inspiration for my book. I rescued him from a bad home and made a show horse out of him just as Garnett did in the book.
The Horse That Came to Breakfast
Patty finds a horse in her front yard at daybreak, and soon she is spending all her time at the nearby stables trying to learn to ride him.
A Horse Named Bandit
Donna gets an Appaloosa for her birthday, but the horse is so homesick for his friend Gracie that at first things are a mess. Gracie, a duck with a talent for trouble, soon makes things worse.
Maggie's Wish
Maggie could easily have been called Marilyn because she's me all over the place. She's dying to have a horse of her own, but instead her father buys a team of plow horses.
I Don't Want a New Horse has just been reissued in e-book format at www.fictionworks.com.
Jennifer loves her pony and has no wish to buy something bigger. Her father, however, has other ideas and the horse her dad brings home has Jennifer scared stiff.
Chicago's Burning
My newest book, an historical fiction for grade 2-3, is about how a girl named Anna and her beloved pony Pepper save Anna's mother from the Chicago Fire of 1871. It will be available from Wendy Pye in the near future.
